Cyrano De Bergerac

On this production of Cyrano de Bergerac, Jordan served as Costume Designer, Wardrobe Supervisor, and Makeup Designer, managing all design and wardrobe needs on a zero-dollar budget. The student director, producing the show as a capstone project, wanted to explore a celestial theme running through the production, which Jordan carried through the costume work from concept to stage. Every costume was pulled or constructed from existing stock, with fabric dyeing and hand-constructed paper mache noses among the solutions she developed to serve the production. With three actors sharing the role of Cyrano, Jordan built a cohesive visual scheme that unified the performances without making the costumes identical to one another.
